Over the last few years, I have concentrated my efforts servicing a wide range of clients of all shapes and sizes throughout the Scottish Borders, which I am continuing to do.

Recently however, I have started looking a little further a field, specifically in the Edinburgh area. I feel I am well positioned to offer a wide range of skills beyond web design and build.

My client NL Productions based in Leith, Edinburgh are one such example. Working with them, I recently created the branding and website for Monteviot Lights, the Scottish Borders' first winter light trail in the grounds of Monteviot House and Gardens.

I started out, more years than I care to mention, as a graphic designer and branding consultant, with all the accompanying skills such as digital artwork, photography, project management and print coordination, although in the last 5 years, I have also created a further website www.johnhamlinart.co.uk specifically to showcase my illustration work and offer people the opportunity to buy wall art.

As well as enjoying working on a number of commissions, my work has been chosen to feature on the front cover of a book celebrating the centenary of the Le Mans 24 hour race.

Why is all this relevant? Well, having the ability to utilise all my complimentary skills when necessary gives clients the opportunity to draw from a wealth of experience and a wide skills base in one place. Convenient, cost effective design covering most of the marketing disciplines any business needs from inception to continual and on-going development.
